Turkey skewers and marinades (curry, turmeric, ginger)
Ingredients
- 3 turkey breast fillets
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 2 small courgettes
- Wooden peg
- 3 c. à soupe yoghurt
- 2 c. à soupe Languedoc olive oil PDO
- 1 c. à café curry
- 1 c. à café turmeric
- 1 pincée Espelette chilli PDO
- Salt, pepper
- 3 c. à soupe lemon juice
- 2 c. à soupe Languedoc olive oil PDO
- 2 c. à café curry
- 1 c. à café turmeric
- 1 c. à café grated fresh ginger
- 1 pincée Espelette chilli PDO
- Salt, pepper

Instructions
This recipe is designed to make both marinades. If you’re only using one, double the quantities given!
Mix together the ingredients for each marinade.
- Cut the turkey breast into cubes (about 3 x 3 cm)
Wash the cherry tomatoes and courgettes. Cut the courgettes into thick slices (1.5 cm).
- Thread the turkey cubes onto the skewer, alternating them with the vegetables.
Place the skewers in two airtight containers. Brush them with each marinade.
- Leave to marinate for 2 hours in the fridge.
Heat up the barbecue (or a frying pan) and cook the skewers, turning them regularly (for about 15 minutes).
- Tip: You can also cook your kebabs in the oven.
Astuce
For this recipe, choose a Languedoc olive oil (PDO) for its prominent notes of almond and tomato. You could also choose an Oliu di Corsica olive oil from Corsica (PDO), a Provence olive oil (PDO), an olive oil from Haute-Provence PDO, an olive oil from Aix-en-Provence PDO, an olive oil from the Vallée des Baux-de-Provence PDO or an olive oil from Nîmes PDO.
