    • €25.8 billion in turnover (+2.9% compared with 2022)
  • 113 PDO agri-food products, including 51 PDO dairy products
  • 2.2 per cent of food production sold
    • €2.33 billion in turnover (+4.8% compared to 2022)

 

In France, more than one in four farms (27 per cent) is committed to a recognised quality scheme, such as an PDO, a PGI or a Label Rouge.

Today, nearly 1,200 products bear one of these official labels, which guarantee their origin, craftsmanship or quality. Their share of marketed production varies across different sectors.
