Carrot chips with Languedoc AOC olive oil

- 20 carrots
- The zest and juice of an orange or a lemon
- 1.5 tablespoons of Languedoc AOC olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Tip
You could also choose another olive oil with a subtle flavour, such as Nyons olive oil PDO or Nice olive oil PDO.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Grate the zest and squeeze the juice from your chosen citrus fruit (lemon or orange). Set aside.
- Wash, peel and cut the carrots into thick chips. Place them in a salad bowl.
- Season with salt and pepper, add 1.5 tablespoons of olive oil to the bowl and toss to ensure all the chips are well coated. Add the zest and juice of the citrus fruit and mix again.
- Spread the chips out on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
Tip
You could also choose another olive oil with a subtle flavour, such as Nyons olive oil PDO or Nice olive oil PDO.
