Ingredients
For
4
- 3 eggs
- 115 g intense-flavoured olive oil
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g of flour
- 75 g caster sugar
- 20 g praline
- 1 a pinch of salt
- The zest of a lime ((optional))
Tip
For this dark chocolate mug cake, we recommend using a full-flavoured olive oil. These olive oils, with a mild to medium level of bitterness and pungency, have vegetal and herbaceous flavour notes that are well worth trying with chocolate!
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate, then add the full-flavoured olive oil.
- Add the sugar and a pinch of salt, then stir.
- Add the flour and praline, then mix again. Remove from the heat and add the eggs one at a time, stirring as you go.
- Fill the mugs three-quarters full with the chocolate and praline mixture. Place them in the microwave and cook for 50 seconds to 1 minute, depending on the desired texture, on the highest setting.
- Leave to cool before serving.
- For a bit of extra zing, you can add a few strips of lime zest to the melted chocolate.
